He has to deal with my indecisiveness as an illustrator. Tiger Mending is the largest project I’ve taken on since college, and theres a lot of things I need to decide on. The most important being, how am I drawing everything.</p> <p>The more I push the linework, the less I like it. My first instinct was to keep things sort of loose, and as I come back to it, the more it makes sense to me, the more right it feels. Part of me wants to spent hours and hours, drawing frame by frame. The other part wants to see results by the end of the day.</p> <p>I’m really happy with this new attempt at page 25, panel 3. Amelia isnt articulated too deeply, as I dont think she needs to be, but I spent a good deal on Lynn’s anxiety and how she reacts to the plane taking off.  Its all pretty simply done too.</p> <p>Lynn is broken down into 6 basic parts: 2 legs, 2 arms, body, head. The head itself is 5 drawings, more or less animated on twos. The rest is after effects!
